The food bowls from BecoPets are made of sustainable bamboo, cornstarch and rice husk. Bamboo fibers are mixed with rice husk, a by-product of rice farming, to create a biodegradable bowl. The natural strength of bamboo makes the bowls just as durable and hard-wearing as plastic alternatives. The food bowl will last for many years and when you’re done with it, it’s compostable.

It’s BPA-free and dishwasher safe.

Bamboo: Bamboo is superstrong and grows in abundance, absorbing 35x more carbon than trees.
Cornstarch: This compostable material is converted into polymers so it has the strength and versatility of plastic, without the environmental impact.
Rice Husk: The byproduct of rice farming. Rice husks are mixed with Bamboo and natural rubber to reinforce and strengthen the end product.
Beco’s materials: Bamboo powder, PLA resin (PLA is a plant-based material), Cornstarch, Bran Coat / Rice husks
